I can't believe the summer is already over, that definitely seemed like the fastest summer ever. I have a feeling it had something to do with that little wedding thing I took part in. But, I'm not really complaining, Fall is by far my most favorite season for multiple reasons. First off, the weather, there is nothing like fall weather. The crisp air, leaves changing, and the smells; all of which I love. Second of all, I love the flavors this time of year, pumpkin, apples...mmm soo good! Then there are my sports, Penn State and Steelers football are in full swing, Penguins pre-season hockey just started, Penn State Hockey is starting here soon in their brand new arena, and then there is the surprising team...My Pittsburgh Pirates are watchable at the end of September and dare I say going to the playoffs?! PLAYOFFS?! It's about dang time, it's only been 20 years of losing!
What I also love about fall with all of these sporting events taking place is the foooooooddd! I love making food that you can enjoy while watching the sports team of your choice, which usually involves lots of meat, sauce, sandwiched into some kind of bread. So here you go, my Meatball Hoagie! Sooooo good :)
