I have to admit I have been a bad food blogger lately. But, I do have an excuse...I'm getting married next week! I honestly haven't even been cooking very much either...trying to lose some pounds before the big day (as of this morning I am 7 lbs away from having lost 100 total lbs!). Add on top the fact that I have school and work, the blog has taken a seat on the back burner unfortunately. But, don't worry! After the dust has settled, I will be sharing a bunch of recipes from the wedding day!
I have dug through the photo archive trying to find something I have yet to post and I came across this gem. You all know how much I love sous vide, I especially love taking stuff that is normally reserved for the grill (since I don't currently own one), throwing them into a vacuum or ziplock bag and cooking them to perfect doneness in my sous vide setup. This is pretty much like poaching brats in beer, except for you never risk overcooking. The cheese sauce is awesome and would work on a variety of different things. Of course you don't have to sous vide the bratwurst, you could simply poach and grill them. Give it a try either way!
