Norma's Chicken Tenders w/ Sautéed Garlic-Parmesan Green Beans
I hope you all had an amazing 4th of July! We had a very relaxing day and honestly didn't really do anything. We are having animal problems in our house (something in the wall) and so I spent part of the day trying to figure out where they are coming in from. Then we just went over to my Moms house, did some laundry and watched the Central Pennsylvania 4th Fest Fireworks from her porch (which were awesome) Before we left though, I decided to make a quick and easy meal and here is what I made!
Every time I make chicken tenders like this I automatically think of my Grandma (Norma). She used to make these all the time for family get togethers. Now that she is getting older and doesn't cook as much, it is usually up to one of the other relatives to make them, because they are a must. She taught me how to make them once, back when I was just getting into cooking, and it always has been one of my favorites. They are really easy to make and they come out absolutely delicious. They are also really good for left overs, hot or cold.
