Barbecue Kettle Corn
We love making popcorn in our house. Typically we just do a normal batch with butter and salt which usually requires lots of napkins and copious amounts of water. But, when I went to make some the other night I realized that I was completely out of butter and since the wife didn't want any, I decided to try something new. That brings us to my Barbecue Kettle Corn.
I probably don't have to tell you how awesome kettle corn is. We always get a HUGE bag whenever we go to any sort of outdoor festival. But, the barbecue seasoning just added another level of fantastic flavor. It was sweet, salty, crunchy (since the popcorn was all caramelized), spicy, smoky...pretty much every flavor that I love. Lee ended up trying some as well and I am pretty sure that we will be definitely making it like this again. It was just so so so sooooo good!
It's also worth mentioning that there are a few semi-big football games in the near future and this little snack would go really well with some cold beers! Give the recipe a try and let me know what you think :)
